The Scott Eli Jackson Foundation (SEJF) is dedicated to working together to bring awareness, education and resources, within low-income communities, to save lives through early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.
GiveNOLA Day, hosted by the Greater New Orleans Foundation, is a one-day online giving event to inspire people to give generously to nonprofit organizations that are making our region stronger, creating a thriving community for all. GiveNOLA Day raises money for the community, brings new donors to local nonprofits, and shows anyone can be a philanthropist. Anyone can make a tax deductible donation to a nonprofit that has created a profile on GiveNOLA.org. The minimum gift is $10 and there is no maximum size or number of donations you can make. In its inaugural year, more than $2.2 million was raised for more than 300 participating nonprofits from more than 19,000 donors on GiveNOLA Day. In its second year, more than $4 million was raised from nearly 35,000 gifts for 571 nonprofits.
Our Purple Purpose Golf Tournament is a fun event that combines many of our supporters' passion for golf with their passion for helping our mission. This is a great opportunity to get your employees, customers, or corporate partners out of the office and participating in a community event. You'll be surprised at the camaraderie that can be built over a collaboration for a charity sporting event! The day kicks off with a shot gun start followed by a day on the links and concluding with an award luncheon.
This is the night we honor all those who have succumbed to pancreatic cancer, show our support for those currently fighting this disease, and celebrate survivors.
